Welcome to SandStone Finishing, your one source for all your sharpening and retipping needs.
We will try to provide all the information you will need and answer any questions you may have up front. We want you to
be comfortable in knowing your instruments are in good hands. If you are a first time customer, this will explain how our
procedure works to insure your instruments are properly taken care of to your satisfaction.

Although it is not necessary to complete our form it is very helpful to communicate to us exactly what you want or don't want done.
Please include any special instructions you may have with your instruments. Any orders received that do not have a form
or instructions will be sharpened, retipped or repaired as needed. If an instrument is beyond sharpening or can not be retipped,
it will be returned to you marked "beyond repair" along with the replacement instrument (if requested).

Package your instruments for shipment:
Free local pickup and delivery is available - call or email us for a pick
All instruments MUST be sterilized before shipping. Whenever possible, leave your instruments in the sterilization pouch.
Package your instruments in a sturdy box with a filler material so that the instruments will not move around during shipping.
Place the service form and any special instructions, you may have, in the box with the instruments. It is always a good idea
to place a business card or letter head in the box for first time customers. Seal the box and apply your shipping label.

Shipping to SandStone Finishing:
You are responsible for all shipping cost to and from SandStone Finishing.
We recommend using USPS to ship your order to Sandstone.
We have a daily pick up and drop off at our local post office which saves 2 to 3 days in shipping time.
We will return your order using USPS priority mail.
The return shipping charge will be added to your invoice.

USPS

SandStone receiving your order:
When we receive your package, it will be checked in the day we receive it. Your instruments will be counted and sorted.
Any special instructions will be noted on the work order. If there are any questions we may have, we will contact you before
doing any work. All new customers information will be entered into our system at that time and a work order printed. Your
order is then placed in a segregation bin along with the work order and any additional information and sent out to the shop.
We understand how important it is that you get your instruments back as soon as possible so we will always keep you up
to date on our current turn around time (bottom of the home page)
which is updated weekly.

Shipping your instruments back to you and invoicing:
Upon completion of your instruments, we will package them and return them to you by USPS priority mail.
Also included in the return box will be your invoice. The invoice is net 30 days. No prepayment is required.
We accept checks, money orders, Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. You may also pay your invoice online using our
payment page. If you prefer, we can keep your credit card on file for all your future orders.

When you receive your order, let us know as soon as possible if you have any questions or concerns.
